Support

There is one inbox, and it isn’t a helpdesk.

Lirea is made by one person. Mail sent to hello@lirea.health reaches them, not a ticket queue, and there is no priority tier to buy your way into. Everyone gets the same address.

Something is broken

Tell us what you were doing and what happened. Your phone model and whether you’re on iOS or Android helps. There is no crash reporter in Lirea and no analytics, so a bug we aren’t told about is a bug we don’t know exists. That is the trade-off of collecting nothing, and it means your email genuinely is the only way we find out.

Billing and refunds

Purchases run through the App Store and Google Play, so refunds are handled there and we never see your card details. Write anyway if something has gone wrong; we can usually help work out what happened, and we would rather know.

Backing up, and getting your data out

Settings has three rows. Back up your data writes a file you can restore from, Restore from a backup reads one back in, and Export log as CSV is for sharing or printing and cannot be restored. All three are free on the free tier and always will be. What we can’t do is recover data for you, because we have never had a copy of it. Whatever sits inside your phone’s own backup is between you and Apple or Google; we have no access to it. That is the whole design, and it cuts both ways.

Getting a new phone

Usually this takes care of itself: your records ride your phone’s own backup and the key travels separately, so you set the new phone up and your history is there. If it looks empty, it is almost certainly still there and waiting for the key, and deleting the app is the one thing that would turn a delay into a loss. Moving to a new phone walks through both platforms.

Anything about your health

We can’t advise on doses, schedules, side effects, or whether something is right for you. Lirea records what you choose; the choosing is between you and a qualified clinician. Questions about how the app works are always welcome.
