What am I giving up to get the privacy?

Three things, and we would rather you heard them here. There is no injection-site body map, no bloodwork import, and no AI that interprets your protocol for you. Some of the apps you are comparing us against have those. What you get instead is that no company, including this one, holds a copy of your dose history.

If it is all on my phone, what happens when I lose it?

You get it back, and you do it without us. Lirea writes your whole history to a backup file you hold, and a new phone restores from it in one action. Making one is free on the free tier and always will be. We still cannot recover anything for you, because we still never had it, and that is the point rather than the catch: the recovery path belongs to you, not to a company that could change its mind about you later.

Every app says it is private. Why is this different?
